The revitalization of Bull’s Head Plaza in Rochester is moving forward.
Thursday, city leaders announced Dawson Development will be leading the project, along with other developers.
The goal of the project is to transform 12 acres in the West Main Street and Genesee Street area to create more housing opportunities, restore the parks and expand businesses.
“The Dawson Development team has a proven track record in urban revitalization and reinvestment,” Mayor Lovely Warren said Thursday. “It is clear to all of us that share our community’s vision to restore Bull’s Head to its prominence as the western gateway to our city.”
The city has dedicated $10.6 million to the project, which has been years in the making.
